Alexander J. Bennett, 24, of Tacoma, Wash.; Spc. Spencer C. Duncan, 21, of Olathe, Kan.; and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Bryan J. Nichols, 31, of Hays, Kan. Bennett was a flight engineer and door gunner. Lt. Col. Richard Sherman, former commander of Bravo Company, 7th Battalion, 158th Aviation Regiment, based at the Gardner, Kan., airport, said Bennett, who he identified as being from Olathe, Kan., returned in 2009 from a deployment with a unit from the Tacoma area.
