| Colour Sergeant Cameron collapsed and died on March 31, 2011, at his home in Livingston, Scotland. He had been recovering from serious head injuries received when a roadside bomb detonated when during a foot patrol north of Lashkar Gah, Afghanistan, on April 13, 2010. A post-mortem found that his death was directly attributable to the injuries he suffered in 2010. | ||||||
