This is a map where I'm currently running cheap cheap 2 line ads.
The Red Arrows are 6 Month Ads. The paws are two month ads cause they cost much more.
Find a local weekly publication and place a 6 month ad and send me the info and I'll ad it to my map. If you can't afford print ad, try their online ad instead. The size of the ad can be any, and any publication including nickel ad types, your weekly office newsletter or church publication even.

and if you want to draw attention to someone specific you know that gave their all, personalize the ad more by adding the page of that hero like:

My objective is to remind people of our fallen heroes. Just forwarding this website www.IraqWarHeroes.org to others is help. Make up a sign and post it in your business. If you can place an ad in your local newspaper with the web address, that would be great also. 2 line ads can be pretty cheap. Or write a letter to the editor. Got some 24c stamps you don't need? Send them my way. Gas coupons would be great also. Spare change to help cover post card costs, web hosting costs etc. would be great also.
