 Killed in Kirkuk, Iraq, of wounds suffered when their vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device.

My name is Leeann, I am Ryan's mother in law...I just want everyone to know how much I loved and cared for him, he was a great husband to my daughter Danielle and a great father to my grandchildren. Ryan was a joker and liked to make people laugh, he never got too excited over trivial things but he most definitely took care of his family first. He had a contagious smile. And so many other good qualities that we all loved. We miss him dearly, but I know he is happy where he is with Jesus. We have to move on the best we can as that is what he would have wanted us to do. It is going to take some time for us to heal time is of the essence for us but we will never forget him. I loved Ryan as my own son, we don't know why these things happen but someday we will realize that there was a reason and we will be better people because of it...Ryan is also my hero and all the good memories he left behind will forever be cherished by myself.....God bless all of us that are left behind to wonder why this happened but someday we will all know the reason. Thank you my son !!!!
I love you with all my being, you took a part of me with you that day but I will be strong and be there for my daughter and grandchildren and try to be as strong as I can in helping them with this loss, a lot of people say we lost you that day but you are not lost you are at home with Jesus now and at peace. I love you with all my heart and soul....You rest now and someday we will see you again..
