Attached is pictures and memorabilia's of Major Jeffrey Ray Calero, killed in Afghanistan on 10/29/07. My son was even-tempered with a good sense of humor. He had all kinds of collections, comic books, baseball cards, old playboy magazines, etc. He also like intricate games and puzzles.

The most important thing for Jeffrey was his family. The last five weekends before he went to Afghanistan, he would take a plane on Friday and return back on Sunday or Monday morning. He spent time with his girlfriend and then with his family. We cooked everything he liked on those weekends and we had a wonderful time enjoying each other.

I just want everyone to remember my hero, your hero, for the sacrifice he made to secure our rights and freedom not only for us but for the people of Afghanistan

A very proud mother.
