From Briana 12/03/05:

Jason,
This has become my obsession...you were taken to soon, and now I feel lost. I still wait for phone calls, emails or letters...but that is just wishful thinking. As Ray put it: "The world is now worse off, for having lost a man like you" I am so so proud...proud to say I knew you, proud to have loved you, and proud of what you believed in and what you fought for. You opened my eyes to so many things. I am no longer oblivious about the war...everything finally became real to me. I am continually praying for all of our soldiers, for a safe return home and also the families of the fallen. I admire and respect you guys, Thanks for all that you do. And Jason, your dog tags remain around my neck, you said that you hoped you'd be the one that I would remember, and I want you to have no worries...you are permanently etched in my heart and will always live on in my memories-I Love You always...

From Briana 01/08/06:

His birthday was January 6th, he would have been 25...It has been two months since he has been gone...and it is still the hardest thing that I have ever gone through. How do you deal w/ death??? I ask myself that question every day, b/c I honestly still am wishing for his voice, and praying to touch his gorgeous face and feel his loving hands on me, but that will never be...
