From Aaron Miller 07/31/07:

Lief and I were in the Glee Club together at West Point. The Army was his pride and joy. He was an Army brat, so always had the answers about Army life. Lief loved Army life and he loved the people in the Army. Lief was one of the better people people out there. He was very personable and ALWAYS did the right thing. He wasn't one of those guys that does the right thing 99% of the time because that wasn't good enough for him. That said, he always accomplished everything he wanted. He was never afraid of hard work or getting his hands dirty. We had a great time in the Glee Club at West Point. Lief, you are missed buddy!
