| Cpl. Jessy G. Pollard, of Springfield, Missouri. Jessy was a graduate of Glendale High School, attended O.T.C., and was a corporal in the U.S. Army, serving with the 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, based at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He was one of 14 soldiers who died in Multaka, Iraq, of injuries suffered when their helicopter crashed. Jessy was an awesome Christian young man. He was dedicated in service to God, his country and his family. Jessy was buried here at Arlington as part of a group burial for some of the remains of the 14 crewmen who died in the crash. He also has a burial place at Missouri Veterans Cemetery. | ||||||||
