From Patty Trixia T Rimes 04/28/05
My dear brother Garry joined all those fallen heroes on midday of April 1st year 2005 at Al Anbar, Iraq. Our fallen HERO was laid to rest last April 16, 2005... All of his loved ones where in deep pain and only time will heal what we had right now! Regardless, we are very proud of my brother, he was brave and really wanted to serve , protect, our country with all his heart and LIFE...Ever since we were little he wanted to be in the MILITARY, he loved to read military books, watching action movies all about wars, like to hold guns and always playing like he was one of the G.I. Joes toy... From our family, we are very thankful for this website, because we had a chance to share and express our feelings to my fallen hero, my beloved brother. Garry, wherever you are right now we love you and we misses you so much.. We are very PROUD OF YOU.. And may you rest in peace... AND TO ALL MEN AND WOMEN IN UNIFORM WE ARE PROUD OF YOU. |

From Mfundo Kiwi Mkwayi 12/05/05:
I would like to take some time to remember my friend, brother and hero Garry. I referred to him as Buster when he was sent to our unit C 1/11 in Camp Pendleton. We were roommates as I was finishing my tour and he had just enlisted. Buster would crack us up with his quick wit and loud laugh. A small man in size but large in heart and physical strength. I remember us watching movies and always playing pranks on each other. Knowing how he left us does not surprise me at all because Buster always had your back no matter what. His family
truly has a HERO in their family. I miss you Buster and cheers to you with a San Miguel.. |
