A gathering will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007, in the Melody Ballroom for Eliot W.D. Scott, who died Oct. 13 at age 24.

Eliot W.D. Scott was born Sept. 22, 1983, in Portland. He graduated from Grant High School and served two tours of duty with the Army in Iraq, where he was an infantry fire team leader. He received a Purple Heart.

Survivors include his mother, Carmen Doerge; father, Philip B.; and brother, Jeffrey.
