From Phyllis 12/07/09:

I am the Aunt of Sgt. Christopher Simpson who died March 17, 2008 attached is a photo of him. He was the oldest grandchild of 15, engaged to be Married when he returned home. Our lives have all changed and we miss him greatly, I know God has a bigger mission for him. His Brother Richard a Marine and Uncle Retired Captain in the Navy are now in Afaganstan, we are hoping for a safe return home. Thank you for remembering the Heroes who have given us the greatest gift of all, the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

From Phyllis 12/28/09:

Christopher was a great kid loved by all and the oldest grandchild of 15.
All his cousins just loved to have him around. His favorite saying was "I'll always have your back" I guess he is able to accomplish that all at once now. I feel him close to me everyday.

Thank you for remembering all the Heroes. In my Memorial Garden in front of my house I have the Honor and Remember Flag flying not only for Christopher, but all the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice, in my gift of freedom.
