From Chad Huston 07/30/07:

I know that my words here are small and pitiful compared to the impact this man had on my life and the lives of those he served with. He was a man of great charisma and great inner and outer courage. He lived the Army values and the Noncommissioned officers creed. He was a good person. He was a great husband and father. I want to wish his wife and family my deepest condolences in their time of grief. He made a huge contribution to my life and drove me to great accomplishments and counseled and mentored me when I was having a hard time. The NCO corp., the US army and the world is a darker place with his passing.
