| LCpl Blaise A. Oleski LCpl Blaise A. Oleski, age 22, of East Floyd Road, was killed in action while proudly and courageously serving his Country in the war against terrorism. He was born July 31, 1986, in Rome, a son of Paul J. and Theresa DAngelo Oleski, and graduated from Holland Patent High School in 2004, and attended MVCC. He was a member of St. Leos Church, Holland Patent. Blaise loved his family, friends and community. He enjoyed facing the adventures and challenges of life head-on. He proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2006. Blaise is survived by his loving parents, Paul and Theresa; his brother, Bryce; grandmother, Bertha Oleski of Scranton, PA; many aunts, uncles, cousins and devoted friends. He was predeceased by his loving grandparents, Joseph and Anna DAngelo and Paul E. Oleski; an uncle, Leo DAngelo; and the infant daughter of his cousins, Gino and Jamie DAngelo. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM, at St. Peters Church. The Committal Service and Military Honors will immediately follow at the Fort Stanwix National Monument.
