 US Army Veteran SPC Cody Werner. Cody enlisted in the US Army on 30 DEC 2013 and went to Airborne School after boot camp. Cody was trained as an Indirect Fire Infantryman (11C1P), after boot camp Cody was selected to enter Ranger School. Cody was attached to the 2nd of the 75th Ranger Regiment, Rifle Company D. 
Cody was deployed to Afghanistan and Syria among other places of imminent danger. Cody served 4years, four months and 30 days of Honorable and Faithful service to our country. Cody was Honorably discharged on 11 May 2018. During his Honorable and faithful service, Cody earned the following medals and devices: Army Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Joint service Achievement medal W C Device ( C Combat, signifies meritorious performance under combat conditions , National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/ Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman badge, Parachutist Badge, Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Driver and Mechanic Badge W/ Driver-Wheeled Vehicle (S) Clasp.
