Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Jeffrey A Lucas gave his all serving our country on June 28, 2005. 

He was Killed while conducting combat operations when the MH-47 helicopter that they were aboard crashed in the vicinity of Asadabad, Afghanistan in Kumar Province.

Since that time, his family and friends have been holding fund raisers to raise money to build a new stadium at the High School that Jeff attended in his honor.

On the left you'll see a list of dates on which I was at the construction site and took snapshots of work in progress ending with the Dedication Ceremony on September 4, 2010.
